Sheeesh! This is no good. I tried to do a study from a Edward Curtis photo. The guy in the picture has a very unique looks. This looks like the guy, kinda. He really has a look that in usual and hard to grasp.

i understand that this is just a sketch from a photo, but do you take time to authenticate the dress of native americans in your art? (i remember hearing a story of a photographer dressing southwestern indians in plains indian apparel). just wondering how you deal with this issue as an artist.
